Lexel J. Green

A have-a-go writer-for-hire who’s previously written video game reviews, film summaries, technology features, digital artist interviews, accountancy advice, heritage leaflets and website pages, but is now trying to make it as an author. His first book, Once Called Magic, debuted in 2015. It's the first in a fantasy adventure/thriller series called The Oconic Gates, which blends Victorian-era militarism with magic, bio-weaponry and Stargate-style portals.

Dean Evans

Dean Evans got his first writing job in 1993, penning video game reviews for a little-known (and now barely remembered) magazine called PC Review. Since then, he’s worked on magazines such as Official PlayStation, T3 and Total Film, and helped launch TechRadar.com. He’s now editorial director at content agency That Media Thing and arguably now proofreads more words than he writes.
